USAMTS Participation Guidelines

Before the contest begins:

• Be sure that you are eligible to participate.
• Register on the USAMTS website.
• Read the rules.

At the start of each round:

• Download the problems.
• Solve the problems!
  Remember, you get at least a month to work on them. Don't necessarily expect to solve them all right away. At the same time, don't wait until just before the due date to start working! Also remember that you can consult books, websites, computers, etc., but not other people.
• Submit your solutions.

After each round:

• Log on and visit your My USAMTS to view your scores and personalized comments on your solutions.
• Visit the leaderboard to see the list of students with the highest scores.
• Read the published solutions to the problems.

At the end of the year:

• Hopefully collect prizes!
